UK TV's 'Great Global Warming Swindle' expose "excellent!"

Last night's first mainstream media TV expose on the UK's Channel 4 'The Great Global Warming Swindle' said it all - and well!

I can only hope this programme gets to be seen in America and elsewhere soon. Refusing to fall for the usual MSM nonsense of 'presenting both sides of the argument' (why the hell should they, the alarmists don't!) they made it plain that scientifically, economically and intellectually there is NO other side to the argument.

Richard Lindzen, Dr Tim Ball, S. Fred Singer, Roy Spencer (NASA), John Christy,  Phillip Stott and countless others. They were all given a voice, finally! And isn't that a terrible indictment of our current mass media that it took so long?  It even showed the gross fraud perpetrated by the UN in compiling the IPCC reports - and including names who did not agree with the findings as presented by the administrators, not the scientists!

You can actually buy videos direct from Channel 4 but I imagine a DVD will be out commercially directly. I will keep you informed. But how about badgering your TV networks to show it?  It literally does contains everything you will need to blow away all the feeble arguments the alarmists can put up.

One up in the MSM (finally) for the good guys, I think.

For a programme that was meant to be unassailable, it's not very good is it? The debunking of this programme is already all over the 'net.

The debunking I have read is mostly focused on the correlation or global warming to sunspot activity. I agree this was the weakest part of the programs argument. However, I think the point was to demonstrate there is not complete unanimity in the scientific community over the exact cause of the current warming cycle and present an alternate theory.

I thought its strongest point was its focus on how small a percent CO2 makes up of the total greenhouse gases and what a small percentage of that comes from man made sources.

I would be interested to read some constructive criticism of that argument.

IMO, there is something that I find strangely hypocritical about the stance of the so-called "Right Wing" RE: "The Global Warming Issue".

One would think that given the current (so-called) "War on Terrorism", since it is believed that all those petro-dollars are gleefully being directed towards nations that would enjoy nothing less than the complete and utter destruction of the west and what they refer to as "the capitalist-imperialist society," we'd at least try to double our efforts at trying to break this "Petroleum Addiction".

Perhaps it's just easier for "Big Oil" to 'go with the flow of the status quo' then to diversify those billions in record profits towards greener technologies, never mind the thought of striking a blow against "Extremist-Islamic Terrorism," canceling their income...

Use common sense we have 100 thousand if not millions of years of climate data....we currently stand somewhere near the norm between the climate extremes of the past...

While there is a slight uptick in the trend of global average temperature....there are numerous factors that influence that besides CO2....which is not a particular robust greenhouse gas in any case and oh by the way is essential to life...

Look very closely at Al Gore and stop worshipping him for what he is NOT...a guru, a seer....he is a common ordinary carpetbagger when you boil away his Daddy's money...
