Capitalism is solving the problems Gore-liberals are alarmed about
Friday, March 16, 2007 at 08:42AM I don't normally reference individual blog posts here, but Andrew Surprise (here at the fine 'Flame of Freedom' blog) on the power-seeking nature of the ideology that drives Gore-mania is worth it. Surprise says:
Gore claimed aside from global warming, there is also a coming water crisis that will lead to mass droughts.
“There is a water crisis already emerging in many parts of the world and indeed, one of the critical inputs that has to be planned on a sustainable basis is water,'’ Gore said. “It’s true for all fuels.'’
One wonders why the Goracle is unaware that water can now be produced from “thin air”. While these liberals are out complaining about problems, the capitalist system is producing the technology to solve these problems. This is exactly why Kyoto is failing, and why all mandatory climate controls will fail, because they don’t actually solve the problem, they just add to the burden on businesses that create the technology that would eliminate the need for such controls.
The reason these left-wing nut jobs are fighting tooth and nail against the Asia-Pacific Climate Pact between the US, Australia, China, India, Japan, and South Korea, is because “Global Warming” is a major tool in their battle for political power, and international control of nation-states.
